Dibenzyl phosphate (DBzP) can be used to promote the monoselective ortho-C-H alkylation of N-quinolyl benzamides with primary and secondary alkyl Iodides. For the ring-opening reaction of epoxide such as benzylglycidol to synthesize dihydroxyacetone phosphate (DHAP).
